The art of maximizing minimum space is one that needs dexterity and imagination when planning and designing small space living. New Property Developments cropping up in the city are too often smaller than apartments built 20 years ago in land scarce Singapore. This trend in living spaces becoming expensive and smaller presents new challenges to designers and homeowners
Most experience designers would be able to work around constrain spaces to create a much more fun and intimate design which is both functional and visually aesthetic.
Tricks and ideas most commonly used in small space living includes the use of mirrors, glass, flush detailing and high ceilings. Small space apartments need no longer be dull and uninteresting with new vision and new materials available to Interior Designers.
